Pick-ups
No longer is the conventional pick-up just a work vehicle. Long gone are the days when a farmer or repairman was the main shopper for a pick-up. These days pick-ups can actually be a luxury vehicle, based on the various amenities available. The pick-up, also known as the truck, has developed many different uses over the past few years. A family of four can now own a pick-up because many now come with extended cabs for additional rear seat seating. This also falls in line with the child restraint laws that specify that a child must be strapped into the back seat.
One of the work-horse pick-ups available are those with a crew cab. The crew cab goes beyond the extended cab in that it makes the pick-up a four-door vehicle. Those who are riding in the rear seat do not have to climb over the front seat to enter or exit the vehicle. They have their own doors that open and likewise have rear windows that can be let down to allow for air circulation. The crew cab has gained popularity for those who like the luxury of driving a car but need the bed that is provided by the truck. The extended or crew cab will offer the consumer the best of both worlds.
Pick-ups are popular because of their work capacity. The have to ability to haul large items in the bed while providing comfort for those in the cab. This is a great advantage for the family who owns a camper and likes to travel. The truck allows you to pull the camper with you wherever you go and you don’t have to worry about finding a motel room. You can stop whenever you are ready to take a break and be comfortable and have your privacy at the same time.
Pick-ups just make good sense. Many models are very fuel efficient and they offer the consumer the comforts of a car and the convenience of have a bed that can be used for hauling.
