Vending Machines in Unusual Places

I have seen vending machines in all of the usual places. However, once or twice I have seen them in the most unusual places. The most recent place that I saw one and questioned its placement was in the bathroom of a bar. I mean, they aren’t that small. And when it starts getting late, the bathrooms get crowded. Not only that, but I would be lucky if I could even see straight enough to get my change purse out to get something to eat while in line.

But this last time, I gained a whole new respect for vending machines (and thanks to 1800vending company for putting it in the bathroom). I was waiting in line when two girls burst into the bathroom. One of them was just about fainting until her friend and the girl in front of me caught her. She was close to the floor and it seemed impossible to get her up. But then a girl bought some candy out of the vending machine, and almost immediately the girl got up and seemed as if nothing had happened.

From my perspective, the girl was probably diabetic or hypoglycemic, but in the end, all it came down to was a piece of candy from the 1800vending machine to save her from a night of hurt. The friend that was with her could not stop thanking the girl that bought the candy, and there seemed to be a quiet respect for the vending machine, at least for the rest of the night. While it was extremely scary to see at the time, I began to see vending machines in a whole new light. Now when I see them in what I used to think were unusual and unnecessary places, I know quietly pass and think about how convenient and useful they are. If it weren’t for companies like 1800Vending, who knows what would have happened to that poor girl.
